The annual trade exhibition Franchising & Licensing Asia (FLAsia) 2010 concluded its three day showing from 21 to 23 October 2010 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore amid a fanfare of happenings.
Speaking at the Opening Ceremony of FLAsia 2010 on 21 October 2010, Guest-of-Honour, Mr S Iswaran, Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry and Education applauded FLA’s effort in growing the franchising and licensing industry, with a positive mention of platforms like FLAsia.
As Asia’s most international trade exhibition and conference for entrepreneurship, business opportunities & intellectual property rights, FLAsia has seen exhibitors successfully promoting their brands, franchises and business concepts beyond their own shores. This is also where visitors go to in discovering new business opportunities.
The show has been an eventful success, with an 11% increase in exhibiting space as compared to last year. FLAsia 2010 showcased 165 participating brands, franchises, licenses and business opportunities from over 20 countries.
In all, its attendance stands at more than 9,000 from 39 countries, including Canada, France, Russia, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and Singapore among others.
Key Happenings at FLAsia 2010
Besides the flurry of activities at the event ground, including Hot-Match and Educational Talks where exhibitors present their brands and franchises, and giving complimentary advices and know-how respectively, FLAsia 2010 marked milestones with its key stakeholders.
