The Lost Bread is derived from the French word “pain perdu” or French toast. The Filipino brand started with a small 20 sqm store back in 2015 and went viral online through its artisan French toasts and over-the-top milkshakes. Now, The Lost Bread is a dessert concept specializing in soft-serve ice cream, milkshakes, and French toast cubes. It ventured into franchising in July 2017 and within a year has grown to over 15 branches. The brand has introduced dessert innovations throughout the years such as the Overshakes, Smoking Sub-Zero Soft-Serve, Sorbe Toasts (French toast cubes ala mode), and the Craft-Your-Own Soft-Serve Bar.
