    Dear Sir,

I wish to open a Smart Reader for tuisyen and kindergarden in Cheras. What is your charges and royalty? Can you also tell me the requirements such as qualification and the type of shop required.

However, Cheras itself i see few of your centres being closed. Recently one in Taman Segar and one more closing in Taman Cuepacs (as advertised by the franchisee). This really bothers me.

    Please keep me informed.

    Thank you.

Piece of advice, before you buy any franchise program, do some ground works first! Start exploring with “EXISTING FRANCHISEES” (the more the safer) – ask them about the good-&-bad of that particular franchise program and MOST IMPORTANT is about the FRANCHISOR! Does the Franchisor is of type ‘sincere’ support your business to grow or the Franchisor of ‘arm twisting’ type that keep ‘threatening’ the Franchisees with ‘against the Franchise Agreement’ or ‘not in accordance to the Brand or Trade Mark practices’. Another tip – in doing franchise business, your ‘business territory’ is also of utmost important. Be very aware of Franchisor of ‘very aggressively’ open new franchise outlets/centers particularly that close to each other franchisees of same family. How do you expect to grow your business or get enough customers if the other franchisees of same family are just few blocks/miles away from your outlet/center. This kind of Franchisor is just want to rake your money (franchisee fees), the more outlets they open, the bigger their coffer will be and they just don’t bother if you suffer in your franchise business. They will be very happy if you failed so that you will close your business and thereafter the Franchisor will happily open up a new outlet at that area and collect a NEW franchise fee from the new franchisee. Again, make some researches beforehand before you be sorry! Sincerely from Victimized SRK Franchisee.

Hi, I am also a victim like John Desa. If you are looking to run a franchise business, this particular Franchisor must be avoided at all cost. The Smart Reader Franchisor is only interested to collect your franchise fee, your royalty and whatever money you ever earned from all your hardwork. They are not there to support you or help you in anyway. John Desa is right. Please avoid them at all cost. there are a lot of unhappy people doing this franchise.
