Formerly known as Hock Seng Trading Company, it was restructured and became a private limited company 4 years later. Soon after, the company decided to tap on the footwear industry, in the hopes of generating more business.

In 1994, the company’s name was slightly altered to May Kee Brothers (Shoe) Sdn. Bhd. to enhance its grip on the footwear market. This marked the turning point of the company. Over the years, it mushroomed and grew to where it is right now, a recognised and trusted brand in the country. Targeting young and middle income families, Red Modani has achieved similar success with other brands under the company, due to the brand’s high quality products and reasonable pricing.

Today, May Kee Brothers (Shoe)  Sdn. Bhd. is a well known retailer anchored in Johor Bahru, with 25 branches located across the country. And we hope our company can increase to 30 outlet in year 2010 and 50 outlet in year 2015.
